Which city does what科技版图
The industries are strikingly concentrated, and knowing the map turns a vague interest into a route. Shenzhen is hardware: drones, consumer electronics, electric vehicles and the supply chain that feeds them. Hangzhou is e-commerce and software, because Alibaba grew up there and an ecosystem formed around it. Beijing is artificial intelligence, aerospace and the research universities. Shanghai is semiconductors, biotech, smart manufacturing and finance. Chengdu has become a games and animation centre. Hefei, which few foreigners could place on a map, is a serious quantum-computing and display-panel cluster. China also treats industrial tourism as a formal policy category, with an accredited national list of sites set up to receive visitors.
