Overview
What this journey is
Four days, one hotel, and the city compressed into a single day so the water town can have a whole one. Day two is the combined Shanghai build — tower, museum, Yu Garden, the old town, the Bund and Nanjing Road, without the river cruise. Day three is Zhujiajiao with its paid minor sites, which is what makes the town worth the hour’s drive. The trade against the four-day Shanghai-only programme is a canal day in exchange for the cruise and the Jade Buddha Temple.

Operational notes
The things worth raising before you quote it, not after.
- Yu Garden closes on Mondays. Tell us the arrival date and we will move the Shanghai days around it rather than dropping the garden.
- Client hotels are quoted separately, against your room-type brief.
- No Huangpu cruise and no Jade Buddha Temple on this build — the city day is compressed to free up day three.
- Zhujiajiao without the minor sites is free to enter and has very little to see. We quote with them in.
- Rates do not apply over the China International Import Expo or Chinese New Year. Other major trade fairs are usually fine at more than a month's notice.
- Booked inside a fair week, vehicles and guides get scarce and pricing moves with the market.
- Large groups may need a luggage vehicle, which is quoted on top.
- An evening meal or an evening activity adds a guide and vehicle surcharge.
