What this journey is
The same three days as the standard Shanghai module, rearranged to buy a second sightseeing day. The client is met and goes straight into Line A with the Huangpu cruise; day two is Line B; day three is the transfer out. Against the standard three-day it gains a whole day of content and the cruise; against the compact Zhujiajiao build it stays inside the city. It needs an arrival early enough to be useful.

Day 1 — Arrival, then Shanghai’s river side
Met at the airport with a name board · Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the transparent gallery · Shanghai History Museum · Huangpu River cruise in daylight · the Bund · Nanjing Road · to your hotel.

Day 2 — Shanghai: the old town and the concession
Yu Garden · the old walled city around Chenghuangmiao · lunch at your own expense · Xintiandi in the former French Concession · Jade Buddha Temple.

Day 3 — Departure
Hotel pick-up at a time set by your flight, and transfer to the airport or the station.

Operational notes
The things worth raising before you quote it, not after.
- Day one only works with a morning arrival. Send the flight number with the brief and we will say honestly whether it fits.
- Do not put Line B on a Monday — Yu Garden is closed.
- Client hotels are quoted separately, against your room-type brief.
- Rates do not apply over the China International Import Expo or Chinese New Year. Other major trade fairs are usually fine at more than a month's notice.
- Booked inside a fair week, vehicles and guides get scarce and pricing moves with the market.
- Large groups may need a luggage vehicle, which is quoted on top.
- An evening meal or an evening activity adds a guide and vehicle surcharge.
