What this journey is

Ten days built on Chengdu and Chongqing rather than on the imperial circuit. Pandas at the Chengdu breeding base and at Wolong, the Shu civilisation at Sanxingdui and Dujiangyan, the UNESCO-listed Dazu carvings on the road east, Chongqing's hillside city by night — then four nights for Zhangjiajie's forest park and Tianmen Mountain. International five-star hotels in both cities, a five-star-standard hotel in the scenic area.
